A delicate lacy flower grows out of an old rusty screw.
Have you ever noticed how flowers can grow from seemingly nonsensical places or objects? They are small microcosms of life, like planets where it is hard to survive. And yet—small seeds can be found there sprouting and starting a new colony.
Screw is the first light from the collection A place to live. This flower is created from hand-drawn and then printed 3D lace (PLA, bio-degradable plastic) and textile.
The flower grows out of an old rusty screw, which some time ago was used as a bolt for a sleeper on a (now derelict) railway track near Prague. Shines gently in warm white.
Screw is the interior lighting object and has an extra low voltage electrical system (SELV), uses 3V.
It is powered by the button battery CR2032.
